Hey there, and welcome to my website!
Here is a little about my life and how Your A Gem LLC started. Originally my beading began as a hobby sparked by my older sister. She asked me to make her some waist beads and anklets when I visited her in New York in May 2020. I have been beading ever since. Soon after, I had a lot of inquiries about making more waist beads and matching anklets. I continued, and since then, I have been learning, growing, creating, and building.
I knew then when I started that I would love to continue beading. It was therapeutic for me and fun for my children as well. I joined Etsy shortly after because I wanted to continue growing my ideas and business. I have since stopped using Etsy, I was with Etsy from 2020-2023. I also needed RAW critique from customers other than from family and friends. I love creating new things and customizing pieces as well. I considered myself to be friendly and sweet but very blunt and straightforward.
I hope to open a shop one day and sell many items, from jewelry to candles, crystals, and paintings. The list can go on and on, and I can speak about jewelry all day long.
More about me...
I am currently 28 years old. I was born and raised in New York. I have served our country and retired from the military in October 2022. So, creating is my new full-time job! I am married and have 3 children and 3 fur babies (Black Cats). I am a full-time student studying Accounting. I hope to graduate in the Fall of 2024. And I am a Pisces, if that matters at all!!! So, you know my creativity is at an all-time high =)
